Hello! Welcome to my blog. My name is Natalie, and I am a mother to an energetic, adventurous, crazy-like-daddy, 17-month old little girl named Isabella, and a newborn baby boy named Nicholas.
My family and I live in Los Angeles. I have a background in education and have been teaching since 2010. Over the course of my career, I have worked with students in grades Pre-K all the way up to 12th grade. In addition to teaching, I am a mentor to a girls group, called Kind Club, which I founded four years ago. I teach students about the importance of being kind to others and themselves. I help students gain self-awareness, build healthy self-esteem, and provide them with opportunities to interact with positive female role models to learn important life lessons. You can learn more about my work with Kind Club here and watch our Youtube video here.
Working with children is both incredibly rewarding and extremely challenging! I have learned a great deal about children from working with them over the past nine years, and know that these lessons will come in handy as my own children grow up.
Becoming a mother to Isabella has completely changed my life. Children have a way of reminding you what is truly important in life. Yes, my life is full of stressors, but at the end of the day, my daughter’s smile and laughter reminds me that the world can go on being chaotic and none of it matters as long as we have each other. She has brought so much love into my life – a love that I have never felt before. It’s hard to imagine loving another baby after being so attached to her for the past fourteen months, but I know that when our baby boy joins our little family my heart will expand and I will fall in love all over again!
Follow along my journey as I take on the challenges of being a full-time working mom, juggling two children under two, and living life in Los Angeles with my growing family. I will share advice with you as I navigate my way through this journey! I will also let you know about helpful products I find and use, healthy and yummy recipes, and all things kid and family related!
